SUNSPEC moving to T11C!

SHELL FUEL SAVE DAY, 21 JULY 2012

SP was invited to showcase their solar car, SunSpec, to inculcate fuel-saving habits amongst motorists and garner support for their outreach efforts. SunSpec will go to Australia for the World Solar Challenge 2013.

Shell Fuel Save Day was held on 21 July, Saturday, at Shell House, UE Square Atrium. This was part of the Shell FuelSave Target One Million campaign.

CHAMPIONS IN THE MAKING!

We are proud to say that SUNSPEC Racing Team won first place Solar Award, during the awards ceremony at the Shell Eco-marathon Challenge Asia at Sepang International Circuit in Kuala Lumpur, Saturday, July 7, 2012.

Day 5, Shell Eco Marathon ASIA 2012

A THIRD TRIAL RUN WAS A SUCCESS FOR TEAM SUNSPEC

  It was an eventful day for the SUNSPEC team. They did their third trial run this morning and it turned out great. The team managed to achieve positive charges and saved energy for the car. They managed to achieve a 110km/kWh. In addition, the trial run was valid and could be counted for if it was on the the race day.

  

  Currently, they are at the top of the rank with the least amount of energy used. With the results, they are very confident right now that they could actually win the race. The race day is tomorrow and wish the team all the best. Stay tune for the race results tomorrow and continue to support team SUNSPEC.

Day 4, Shell Eco Marathon ASIA 2012

A GREAT DAY FOR THE SUNSPEC Racing TEAM

  In a nutshell, today was a fruitful day for the team. Under the Solar category, SUNSPEC was the first team to go onto the practice track.The SUNSPEC team did a couple of time trials and recorded the results after each trial. The results turned out to be quite great. The team is currently at the top of the scoring chart in the Solar category (for the least amount of energy used). 


  The team have at least 2 days left to improve on their results and do a few more time trials before the race day. Wish them all the best and stay tune for further updates of the SUNSPEC team!
